Austin Morris Makes Statement in Debut Win Over Jared Brown at XFA Fight Night 4

HARRIMAN, TN — XFA Fight Night 4 lit up Roane State Community College on Saturday, May 24th, delivering another thrilling night of action for Tennessee fight fans. One of the standout bouts of the evening took place in the amateur welterweight kickboxing division, as Agoge Combatives’ Austin Morris made his long-anticipated debut against Crossville MMA’s Jared Brown.

Brown, entering the contest with a 2-2 record — all previous bouts taking place inside the XFA cage — brought experience and composure into the matchup. The first round was tightly contested, with both fighters trading clean shots. Brown looked sharp and aggressive, but Morris remained patient and began to find his rhythm as the round progressed.

 By the end of the first, Morris had identified a key opening and started landing effective inside leg kicks that visibly affected Brown. Those strikes would become the turning point of the fight.

In the second round, Morris ramped up the pressure, repeatedly targeting Brown’s lead leg. The damage accumulated quickly, resulting in three knockdowns — all from well-placed inside leg kicks. Due to the repeated knockdowns and the effect of the damage, the referee stepped in and called a stop to the bout, awarding Morris a TKO victory in Round 2.
