Crossville, TN - XFA BJJ 01 opened Friday night at Cumberland Mountain State Park with a lightweight NoGi superfight between Crossville MMA’s Dylan Dhuivetter and Killa Kickboxing’s Davan Riddle—a matchup that quickly turned technical.

Immediately after the opening bell, the two athletes tied up, and Riddle jumped guard looking for a guillotine. While the choke wasn’t tight, it forced Dhuivetter to stay cautious as he worked to pass from inside Riddle’s guard. Dhuivetter maintained composure and looked for openings, but Riddle stayed active off his back.

In a highly anticipated rematch, Killa Kickboxing’s Matt Luffman (0-1 Dirty Boxing; 2-0 Kickboxing) faced off against XFA Amateur Dirty Boxing Lightweight Champion Zack Mitchell (1-0 Dirty Boxing) of Memento Combat Sports. The two first met at XFA Fight Night 4 on May 24th, where Mitchell claimed what some were calling a controversial early stoppage win that left many in the crowd — and Luffman himself — wanting a more definitive ending.

Crossville, TN - The atmosphere was electric at the National Guard Armory in Crossville, TN on June 21st as XFA Fight Night 5 delivered another thrilling night of action. The co-main event bout of the evening featured a showdown for the inaugural XFA Amateur Heavyweight Championship between London Martial Arts’ Josh Denham (1-2 MMA going into the bout, 1-0 XFA MMA, 1-0 XFA Kickboxing) and Upper Cumberland MMA’s Cody Deck, who was making his MMA debut after going 1-0 in kickboxing competition.

From the opening bell, both big men looked calm, composed, and ready to make history. Denham came out with intensity, pressing forward with confidence and immediately putting Deck on the defensive. A barrage of punches from Denham backed Deck to the cage, opening up an opportunity for a clean takedown.

Crossville, TN - The amateur flyweight division was front and center during the feature bout of XFA Fight Night 5 as two undefeated prospects put their records—and the inaugural XFA Flyweight Championship—on the line… almost.

Originally slated as a title fight, the stakes changed at weigh-ins when Moses Lee (2-0, Torch MMA & Fitness) came in five pounds over the 125-lb limit. The infraction cost him a two-point penalty to start the bout and stripped him of eligibility to win the title. Calogio Torres (1-0, Phoenix MMA & Fitness), who made weight, remained the only fighter eligible to claim championship gold.

Crossville, TN - The XFA Fight Night 5 crowd at the National Guard Armory was treated to an absolute war in the amateur bantamweight division as Robin Singh of Fit Martial Arts (Nova Scotia) made a statement in his MMA debut with a stunning second-round knockout over Carter Allred of S.P.A.R. Martial Arts.

This was the XFA and MMA debut for both fighters, and neither man held back.

From the opening bell, Allred and Singh came out swinging with unrelenting aggression, trading wild exchanges that had fans on their feet. The pace was electric, and both fighters landed clean, heavy shots in the early going. Midway through the first round, Allred appeared to land a strike that rocked Singh. Smelling blood, Allred swarmed with pressure against the cage, but Singh instinctively shot for a takedown to slow the onslaught.

Crossville, TN - The National Guard Armory in Crossville played host to a high-energy amateur MMA showdown at XFA Fight Night 5, as KMAA’s Jovani Barajas squared off against independent fighter Dustin Pryor in a 130 lb catchweight bout.

Both fighters came out ready for war.  During successful early exchanges from both fighters, Pryor landed a heavy inside leg kick that echoed through the venue and momentarily disrupted Barajas' forward pressure.  Seconds later, Pryor threw a crisp right cross—but Barajas slipped under the punch with perfect timing, secured Pryor’s waist, and delivered a powerful suplex that brought the crowd to its feet.

Crossville, TN –  The junior amateur MMA showdown between London Martial Arts’ Kayla Brummett (1-0) and Lilly Mosqueda (debut; 1-0 kickboxing) of Team Phoenix lived up to the hype and more, as the two rising stars collided in a high-paced 120-pound battle at the National Guard Armory during XFA Fight Night 5.

From the opening bell, Brummett looked to impose her striking with crisp body kicks. However, it was the second kick that proved to be a turning point early, as Mosqueda caught it clean and turned it into a takedown.  On the ground, Brummett wasted no time, threatening with a flurry of submission attempts and locking in a deep armbar that had the crowd on edge.  Mosqueda showed incredible composure and flexibility, escaping the submission in a moment that showcased her grit and athleticism.

Crossville, TN  – XFA Fight Night 5 brought fans to the National Guard Armory on Saturday, June 21st for a thrilling evening of amateur kickboxing and MMA action. The card featured a standout 170-pound amateur kickboxing bout between Harrison McCready of KMAA and Chattanooga’s independent newcomer AJ Smith.

McCready entered the ring with a 2-1 amateur MMA record and a 0-1 mark in amateur kickboxing, determined to make his XFA debut memorable. His performance combined precise striking, effective kicks, and well-timed knee strikes, establishing clear control through all three rounds. Consistent footwork and defensive awareness enabled McCready to rack up scoring strikes and stay one step ahead on each judge’s scorecard.
