Cookeville, TN –  XFA LIVE 03 kicked off with a bang as Guardian MMA’s Grant Underwood and Ultimate MMA’s Dylan Shifflett opened the evening with a fast-paced NoGi grappling bout at Revolver of Cookeville. The crowd was treated to a technical showcase that set the tone for the rest of the event.

From the opening whistle, both athletes wasted no time engaging in a heavy collar tie battle, jockeying for dominant position. Shifflett scrambled to a turtle position in an effort to recover, but Underwood was one step ahead. In a smooth transition, he moved to the back, locked in the hooks, and secured a clean rear naked choke finish approximately halfway through regulation.
