Kayla Brummett and Abigail Dhuivetter Set for Jrs MMA Showdown in Harriman, TN

Harriman, TN —  Xtreme Fighting Alliance (XFA) is proud to announce an exciting Jrs MMA strawweight bout set for May 24th at XFA Fight Night 4, taking place at Roane State Community College in Harriman, Tennessee.

This highly anticipated matchup will see Crossville MMA’s Abigail Dhuivetter make her MMA debut against London Martial Arts’ Kayla Brummett, also stepping into the cage for her first amateur MMA fight.  Both athletes are teen competitors, and in adherence to Jrs MMA rules, no head strikes will be permitted at any point during the contest. The bout will still be conducted under modified MMA rules, allowing for a full range of grappling, submissions, body strikes, and cage control — providing the athletes with a true MMA experience while maintaining safety standards for youth competition.

This bout also carries a compelling storyline as the two young martial artists have faced off once before on the mats.  At XFA Fight Night 2 last October in Crossville, TN, Kayla Brummett edged out a victory over Abigail Dhuivetter in a spirited grappling-only match. Now, with MMA gloves on and more tools at their disposal, Abigail looks to even the score, while Kayla aims to assert herself once again in a more complete MMA setting.

The bout will be contested in the Strawweight division, and while both athletes are making their amateur debuts, the previous meeting adds extra intrigue to an already exciting matchup.
