HARRIMAN, TN – Xtreme Fighting Alliance (XFA) Fight Night 4 brought the energy and intensity fans have come to expect on Saturday night at Roane State Community College. In the second fight on the preliminary card, Kayla Brummett of London Martial Arts secured a victory over Crossville MMA’s Abigail Dhuivetter after two rounds of fast-paced action.

The bout marked the official amateur MMA debut for both competitors, but the two were no strangers to each other. Brummett and Dhuivetter previously faced off in a no-gi grappling match at XFA Fight Night 2 in October 2024, where Brummett earned a decision victory. Saturday night’s showdown served as both a continuation of their growing (but friendly) rivalry and a new chapter in each young fighter’s career.

From the opening bell, Brummett and Dhuivetter set a relentless pace. The first round was defined by aggressive striking in the clinch and a barrage of knees to the body from both fighters. The two engaged in extended periods of standing grappling, constantly battling for position against the cage while mixing in strikes at every opportunity. The action was back-and-forth, with neither competitor giving an inch.

Round two continued with the same intensity. Brummett worked to control the clinch exchanges while Dhuivetter answered with her own offense, landing several clean knees to the midsection. The crowd responded to the gritty determination on display, as both fighters showed heart, toughness, and technical promise in their debut efforts.

At the end of the second round, however, Dhuivetter informed officials she would not be continuing into the third, awarding Brummett the win by corner stoppage. It was a hard-earned victory for the London Martial Arts athlete, who now moves to 1-0 in her amateur MMA career.

The bout served as a standout moment in an action-packed night and highlighted the rising talent in XFA’s junior ranks. With both athletes displaying impressive skill and composure, the future remains bright for Kayla Brummett and Abigail Dhuivetter as they continue to develop and evolve in the sport.
