Zack Mitchell: Battle-Tested and Built for This Moment

Knoxville’s Zack Mitchell has become a familiar presence inside the XFA cage, but his road to this championship opportunity has been anything but rushed.

Before ever competing in XFA, Mitchell gained early experience with a bout at Redneck Brawl. He later found his footing with XFA through Dirty Boxing, where he went 1–1 and ultimately captured the XFA Dirty Boxing Lightweight Championship. That run showcased his toughness, pressure, and willingness to fight through adversity — qualities that translated seamlessly into MMA.

Mitchell made his amateur MMA debut at XFA 02, earning a second-round TKO victory over Tony Walker in August. He followed that performance with a disciplined decision win over Brock Ellison at XFA Fight Night 5, proving he could manage pace, composure, and strategy across three rounds.
