Crossville, TN –  The XFA Fight Night 5 main event at the National Guard Armory in Crossville delivered exactly what fans came to see — raw action, high-stakes drama, and a finish that sent the crowd into a frenzy.

In a highly anticipated rematch, Killa Kickboxing’s Matt Luffman (0-1 Dirty Boxing; 2-0 Kickboxing) faced off against XFA Amateur Dirty Boxing Lightweight Champion Zack Mitchell (1-0 Dirty Boxing) of Memento Combat Sports. The two first met at XFA Fight Night 4 on May 24th, where Mitchell claimed what some were calling a controversial early stoppage win that left many in the crowd — and Luffman himself — wanting a more definitive ending.

This time, both fighters came prepared to leave no doubt.

From the opening bell, the intensity was undeniable. Luffman and Mitchell wasted no time trading sharp, aggressive strikes. Mitchell looked to assert his championship pedigree with clean combinations and clinch control, while Luffman showcased his signature kickboxing base, mixing in heavy body shots that began to pay dividends early.

As the round wore on, Luffman’s relentless pressure and well-placed shots to the body began to visibly affect the champ. Then, near the end of the first round, Luffman connected with a thunderous right hand that sent Mitchell crashing to the canvas. The referee jumped in immediately, calling a stop to the fight and awarding Matt Luffman a TKO victory, capturing the XFA Amateur Dirty Boxing Lightweight Championship in emphatic fashion.

The crowd erupted in applause for what many are calling one of the most exciting main events in XFA history — a bloody, high-octane war between two rising stars now tied 1-1 in their rivalry.

Despite the intense buildup and high stakes, both fighters showed immense respect for one another before and after the bout — a true testament to the warrior spirit that defines XFA athletes.

With each man holding a win over the other, fans are already clamoring for the trilogy. If the first two chapters are any indication, Luffman vs. Mitchell III could be an instant classic.
